Presenter: Seth Hix
Every minister and every church faces times of transition. Churches need leaders. Ministers need places to lead. How do the two groups meet? What are the trends in the “church search?” What are the best practices for the 21st-century free church, such as Baptists?
After a 13-year career in church music, the pursuit of a new ministerial calling led Seth Hix and his family to North Carolina, where he enrolled at Wake Forest School of Divinity. After graduation, Seth began as CBFNC’s Church Engagement Coordinator on June 1, 2017.
Seth has completed Intentional Interim Pastor Training (Phase 1 and 2) through the Center for Congregational Health, and the S.T.E.P. Interim Ministry training through the Center for Healthy Churches.
This resource is particularly helpful for persons interested in vocational ministry and search committees.
